Why Pages are not always indexed

Issues of indexing can occur in different types:

Accidental Noindex Tags

Google may exclude a page, so that it is not included in a search query; it is not excluded by the ability to crawl it, indicated by a noindex meta tag.

Duplicate or Thin Content

Google has the choice not to index content that they consider is low or in many ways comparable to other pages.

Poor Internal Linking

Google will not necessarily send you to your page efficiently unless it is referenced by other pages.

Crawled but Not Indexed

On other occasions, Google crawls a page, though it is not going to index it overnight, once more, it is often pegged on prioritisation or authority decisions.

Technical SEO Indexing Tips

  • Check and Fix Noindex Tags: Locate your HTML and delete everything that contains meta name to robots content, it must not be noindex.
  • Review robots.txt: Only deliberately blocked routes should be prohibited.
  • Submit a Sitemap: A sitemap will help Google to index all the pages which you would desire to make visible on the search engine page.
  • Request Indexing in GSC: Only solve the issues, and in the URL Inspection tool, choose request indexing.
  • Fix Server or Crawl Errors: Make sure that your server has gotten back the pages you desire successfully.
  • Improve Site Structure: Place internal links on the highly authoritative pages.

Our Guide to Indexing

Sign up for Google Search Console.
Use the URL Inspection tool.
Type or paste your URL.
Click on Request Indexing.
Give Google more time to re-crawl the page.
This process is the driving force behind Google re-evaluating.

How to Index Backlinks

Backlinks increase authority and go around the Google search more quickly:

  • Publish new material on locations with high authority.
  • Navigation or home page link.
  • Surface the pages either through a social distribution channel or a content distribution channel.
Googlebot is a follower -the tighter follower links to this or that page, the better.

How to Confirm the Indexing of Guest Posts.

To check the indexing of guest posts’ links:

  • Enter the URL of the guest into the DML Training Google index checker tool.
  • Or search in Google with: site:guestsite.com/post-url

And when you find it in the results, it is indexed. Unless indexed, GSC requests indexing or requests the host site owner to enhance internal links.

Advanced Indexing Contemplations.

There are current protocols that are used to accelerate indexing announcements:

IndexNow API — IndexNow API is not in use by Google itself, but may speed up search engine discovery. It is done through the IndexNow API for sensitive search engines.

Yes, you are quite welcome and without registration.
It may require a duration of hours up to weeks, depending on crawling activities and the authority of the sites.
Ordinarily, these are because of robots.txt blocks, a no-index tag, crawling errors, or pages that have not been crawled.
The tool crawls individual URLs – larger-scale indexing indicators found in Search Console.
Ranking requires indexing, but does not assume that it is sufficient, as other aspects, such as content quality and backlinks, are also important.
